The Qatar Goodwood Festival took place on 26th-30th July, and once more cemented its reputation as one of the undisputed highlights of the British Flat racing season. The team at the ONE Planet ONE Chance Reusable Cup System were, naturally, delighted to be the system of choice for this spectacular event.

The world-famous five-day festival, affectionately known as ‘Glorious Goodwood’, presents spellbinding sport and a social occasion like no other. Unrivalled style, scintillating racing and hospitality to savour make for an exquisite week, where some of the greatest stars in horse racing are crowned.

And whilst Glorious Goodwood is always a joy to be involved in, our collaboration with Goodwood goes even further, with us also working on the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, and other events through the year with their team. This is all part of their overall sustainability plan, to move away from the system they previously used – branded cups which became souvenirs for visitors, leading to it being an expensive reusable cup system. This is something that our ONE Planet ONE Chance Reusable Cup System is designed to move away from for event organisers.

Whilst our reusable cups are branded with the powerful eco-message of ONE Planet ONE Chance to help reinforce positive user behaviour, they are not branded with an event name, logo or dates. This means that – with marketing support pre-event and in-event – visitors will typically return their cups to the bars, reusable cup bins or cup collection points, meaning that our reusable cups can be used time and time again.
